Prepare Your Property!

Remember! If you're trying to sell your property, it is important to make sure it has the 'wow' factor. But, what is the 'wow' factor? Well, I am sure we all remember the times in the past when whilst looking round properties either to rent or to buy, we have come across 'the one' - You walk inside and 'wow'.

The 'wow' of course can be anything - It could be the beautiful decorations throughout the home, it could be the homely smell of home made bread baking in the oven, it could be the monumental LCD TV and the huge leather sofas positioned in front of an open log fire...But whatever it is, it is the 'wow' factor for you - and it differs from person to person.

Therefore, when you look at your home, take time to make everything as tip-top as possible. Make sure the carpets are cleaned and look like new, ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy (maybe have some wonderful aroma wafting through the home). Make sure the beds are made and that everything is put away in its place. Tidy the garden, cut the grass, cut back any unruly plants and shrubs. Clean the windows and doors. There are many, many things that create the 'wow' factor for potential purchasers or rentors and it is essential that you try to develop the 'wow' factor throughout your property.
